Join the beta

Tinlow is in beta through Apple's TestFlight. Email us to ask for an invite; you'll get a link that installs Tinlow on your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Adding a source

Open Tinlow and choose Add a source. For an Xtream Codes account, enter the server, username and password your provider gave you. For an M3U playlist, paste the playlist link. A guide (XMLTV) link is optional — Xtream accounts usually include one.

Tinlow doesn't include any channels. To try it without a provider, add this sample playlist of Apple's public test streams: tinlow.com/demo.m3u.

Picking your channels

After adding a source, choose the categories to keep. Tinlow downloads only those. Use Rules to hide channels by name — "contains", "starts with", "ends with", "is" or a regular expression.

Apple TV

Set Tinlow up on your iPhone or iPad while signed in to iCloud; open it on Apple TV with the same Apple Account and your sources are already there. Swipe up or down to change channel, click for the mini guide, press Menu to go back. Click and hold for Try other player.

A channel won't play

Try Try other player from the player's menu: Tinlow switches between Apple's player and VLC, and remembers what worked for that channel. If nothing plays, check the channel with your provider.

iCloud sync

Settings → iCloud in Tinlow shows the sync status. Signing out of iCloud removes Tinlow's sources from that device; signing back in brings them back.
