Privacy

Last updated 3 October 2026.

Tinlow collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer never receives your playlists, your viewing, or anything about you.

What stays on your device

The playlists and guides Tinlow downloads from your provider, your filters, favourites and watch progress are stored on your device. Provider passwords and links are kept in the device Keychain.

What goes to your iCloud

If you're signed in to iCloud, Tinlow syncs your sources, filters, favourites and watch progress through your own iCloud private database, so your other Apple devices are set up automatically. Passwords and playlist links are stored in iCloud's end-to-end encrypted fields. This data belongs to your Apple Account; the developer can't see it. You can remove it in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Who Tinlow talks to

Nothing else. Tinlow contains no third-party analytics or advertising code. It uses two open-source libraries, VLCKit and GRDB, which run on your device and send nothing anywhere.

Children

Tinlow doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone, including children.
